funny story

aside from my blog being a bit messy- have to figure that out when stop for more than 2 seconds. have to tell you, heading to AF this am [babies out early 2] and car slows next to us. then i think i notice them trying to honk their horn, not that i would hear it with the rumbblN of the truck and all BUT it was a friend of mine/ours. WHAT a gr8 surprise- think i was too stunned & shocked to see someone i know to blow kisses back but i managed a wave...i think, i hope :)

fwiw, i smiled all day...i love seeing a person i know so thank you YOU made my day

mom moment#3

this morning, lounge in bed not moving too quickly and girls are quiet. then girls stir & ava wakes up to which she immediately calls "mama, mama, mama"- i reply, " give me a sec!!" she says, "mama, mama, mimi, mama :)" and i went to pick her up....they got faster & louder as i entered the room and sweep'D her up in a BIG hug 'good morning'....

p.s. her favorite, mom move. she opens her arms & i open mine- i love you THIS much, i whisper to her and then i give her a BIG hug :)

came home from work the other am and was walking across the yard. i looked up at the babies window and lyla was pulling back the curtains so i waited till she could see me. oh, she was so excited!!! i waved & said hi lyla and she was saying mama- i read her lips.....and then i came in and went straight to her.

did i tell you cede and i talked yesterday. one of her biggest fears is that i am disappointed in her or that i'll switch gears and get MAD about all this & BE MAD at her. she thinks/thought i could even maybe love her less. broke my heart....

we talked and i held her face close & told her it wasn't true at all. i re-assured. and we talked some more

p.s. we keep working on her school stuff & trying to figure it out! keep us close at heart <3

not well

we have a couple friends who are very sick, please pray with me for them;

one is recovering from surgery & has had some complications. she is a mom, a wife & lovely person who needs major "extra health points" or a "potion". she had major spine surgery out of state & now here at home has had several health concerns arise. her body needs rest & healing powers before she can face much more. my heart goes out to her & i think of her often during the day, saying a prayer

another is a friend of a friend but it's a couple we know & she got sick with the swine flu, nearly overnight. within 2 days she had been bag'd & put on life support, she was in a coma. the fiancee' got sick but went to O/P doc and got TX right away. he left his job & friends last week to by her side all the time. she has woken up a couple times & may get the tube out, but still touch and go. now her parents want to move her by them & he can't afford to come. she will have permanent damage on multiple levels if she recovers, from all the steroids & medication
