Actress Marlee Matlin opens up about her past in a brand new memoir. Matlin's book, "I'll Scream Later," highlights the Academy Award winner's life in the Hollywood spotlight as a hearing-impaired performer, as well as a surprising past spent pushing limits and defying expectations.
...makes me think of the 'golden rule', matthew 7:12. and yet sometimes it is the farthest from how we act, especially towards the people we "love" & cherish the most in this life. i had like troubles & abuse and had to find my own voice through it all. i felt lost. i got lost. woman to woman- it takes courage, strength from another place, a higher power to get through some days. i've lived minute to minute and worked up to day to day. and still slide sometimes, everyone does. one way to grow is by women sharing stories and talking about it out loud. no hush, hush!
